Renowned for its solid, tank-like metal construction, this lens is based on Angénieux's famous optical design, featuring a bright f\/2.6 maximum aperture at 28mm stopping to f\/2.8 at 70mm. Outfitted with Tokina's Focus Clutch mechanism for swift switching between autofocus and manual focus by sliding the focusing ring back and forth, precision multi-coated glass elements, standard 77mm front filter thread, and distance scale window. Glass elements are bright and clear with anti-reflective multicoatings intact; free from fungus, haze, or optical scratches, with only minor internal micro-dust specks standard for vintage zoom lenses. Fully tested and operational: autofocus operates smoothly on Canon EOS bodies, focus clutch mechanism engages correctly, zoom mechanism rotates evenly across 28-70mm, and metal bayonet mount is clean.
