Renowned historically as one of Nikon's finest early telephoto zoom designs, it features a single push-pull collar control for simultaneous focus and zoom operation. Built with an all-metal barrel, rectangular rear optical baffle mask, silver chrome accent ring, meter coupling prong ("rabbit ears"), and standard 52mm front filter thread. Native AI indexing allows light metering across vintage film bodies and modern Nikon DSLRs equipped with an AI coupling lever. Serial number 814035.
