Description

The Panagor Auto Wide Angle 28mm f/2.5 is a fast, vintage manual-focus wide-angle prime lens built in Japan for 35mm Nikon F-mount SLR cameras. Featuring a bright f/2.5 maximum aperture, it provides excellent low-light performance and a shallow depth-of-field creative option rare for 28mm vintage primes. Constructed with a robust all-metal barrel, diamond-pattern rubber focus ring, silver accent ring, meter coupling prong ("rabbit ears"), and a wide 67mm front filter thread. Native Non-AI bayonet mount, making it compatible with classic pre-AI film cameras (Nikon F, F2, Nikkormat FTN) and easily adaptable to modern mirrorless camera systems via standard manual focus adapters. Serial number 64161. Complete with front push-on cap and rear lens cap.

Cosmetically the metal lens housing is in clean condition with light scuffs and minor finish wear along the barrel edges. Focus ring rotates smoothly across the distance scale, aperture ring turns with distinct detents down to f/22, and the aperture blades are clean and dry. However, optical inspection under direct backlighting reveals noticeable internal fungus bloom and haze on internal glass elements. Serial number 64161.
