Originally produced during the WWII era, this camera represents the final iteration of the short-base Barnack Leicas before the transition to die-cast bodies. The upgrade includes IIIf-style shutter speed dial, flash sync, and top plate refinements, offering the charm of a prewar Leica with the usability of a postwar model.
