DESCRIPTION
Leicaflex Standard 35mm SLR camera, Made in Germany, early production (circa 1965), in Very Good cosmetic condition, battery tested, with the meter working. This is the first SLR produced by Leica, renowned for its exceptional mechanical engineering, bright viewfinder and robust all‑metal construction.
The camera presents well overall, but the film winder does not always fully retract, noted clearly for accuracy. A strong collector/user example of the earliest Leicaflex body.

The 1965 Leicaflex Standard is historically significant as Leica’s first SLR, built to an exceptionally high mechanical standard. Early examples with working meters are increasingly scarce. The winder issue is common in unrestored bodies and can be serviced if desired.
