Description

The Agfa Super Solinette is a 35mm folding rangefinder camera, produced in Germany between 1953–1958. It’s the premium model in the Solinette line, distinguished by its coupled rangefinder, unit focusing lens, and elegant symmetrical design. Often fitted with the Solinar 50mm f/3.5 lens — a 4-element Tessar-type — paired with a Synchro-Compur shutter offering speeds from 1s to 1/500s + B.

The camera features a manual EV-linked shutter/aperture system, stepless f/stops, and a double exposure prevention mechanism. Its compact folding design and rigid lens bed make it ideal for travel and street photography, while the 10-blade diaphragm delivers beautifully smooth bokeh.

Condition

Good vintage condition. Lens optics clean — no haze or fungus. Shutter fires accurately across all speeds. Rangefinder patch bright and aligned. Bellows intact and light-tight. Body shows minor cosmetic wear. Brassing wear consistent with use.
