The Asahi Pentax ES II (Electro Spotmatic II) is a historic, advanced 35mm SLR camera body featuring electronic aperture-priority auto-exposure alongside full manual shutter speeds, built around the universal M42 screw lens mount. Introduced in the early 1970s as Pentax's flagship electronic SLR, it natively accepts a vast array of vintage M42 lenses, including open-aperture SMC Takumar optics.
