Description

An authentic vintage Asahi Pentax Takumar deep metal lens hood with a 49mm screw thread. Specifically designed for telephoto Takumar manual focus prime lenses, including the 135mm f/3.5 and 150mm f/4 optics. Crafted from lightweight black anodized aluminium with a ribbed anti-reflective interior lining to effectively eliminate side glare, flare, and ghosting. Features crisp white lettering engraved on the outer barrel reading "Takumar 1:3.5 135mm 1:4 150mm", "ASAHI OPT. Co. Japan", and "49ø". Made in Japan.

Overall Condition: Very Good

Cosmetically in very good pre-owned vintage condition showing light handling marks and faint surface scuffs on the matte black outer metal finish. Casing is round and true with no denting or impact damage. 49mm male mounting threads are clean, undamaged, and screw smoothly onto compatible lenses. Internal anti-reflective matte coating and micro-ribbing are intact and clean.
