Description:
Asahi Super-Takumar 35mm f/3.5 manual-focus wide-angle lens for Pentax K mount, in good vintage condition with minor internal fungus. This compact prime delivers classic Takumar rendering—sharp center performance, smooth focus, and rich tonality. Originally designed for M42 screwmount, this version has been adapted or rebarreled for native K mount use, offering direct compatibility with Pentax film and digital bodies.
The lens features Super Multi-Coating (SMC) for improved contrast and flare resistance, and a compact all-metal build. The fungus is minor and unlikely to affect general image quality, but may reduce contrast in strong backlight. Offered with front and rear caps.

Collector Notes:
This lens is part of Takumar’s legendary lineup from the 1960s–70s, known for precision mechanics and timeless rendering. Sharpest at f/8–f/11, it’s ideal for landscapes, street, and travel photography. The compact size and smooth focus ring make it a joy to use. Minor fungus may slightly reduce contrast in high-flare scenes but does not affect sharpness or usability. A great candidate for restoration or creative vintage shooting.
