Description

The Auto Sunactinon MC 28mm f/2.8 is a classic vintage manual focus wide-angle prime lens featuring an Olympus OM bayonet mount. Engineered with multi-coating (MC) to enhance light transmission, control flare, and deliver rich contrast. Providing a wide 28mm focal length, it serves as a versatile wide-angle lens for street, landscape, and architectural film photography on Olympus OM-system 35mm film SLRs (such as the OM-1, OM-2, OM-10, and OM-20). Easily adapted to modern mirrorless camera systems (Sony E, Fujifilm X, Canon RF, Micro Four Thirds) via standard OM-to-mirrorless adapter rings. Features an all-metal barrel construction, crisp aperture detents, textured focus ring, and a compact 49mm front filter thread. Serial number 842364. Complete with front clip-on cap and rear OM mount cap.

Condition

Overall Condition: Excellent

Optics are clear, fungus-free, and haze-free with possible light internal dust. The black metal lens barrel finish is in exceptionally clean cosmetic condition with sharp green, orange, and white lettering and firm rubber focus ring texturing. Metal Olympus OM bayonet mount and rear glass optic are bright and clean. Manual focus ring rotates smoothly and evenly, aperture ring clicks sharply across all stops, and aperture blades are clean and oil-free. Serial number 842364. Fully tested and working.
