The Image MC 28mm f/2.8 is a classic vintage manual focus wide-angle prime lens featuring a native Pentax PK bayonet mount. Multi-coated (MC) to control reflections, minimize lens flare, and ensure rich image contrast. Providing a wide 28mm focal length, it serves as a versatile wide-angle choice for landscape, architectural, and environmental street photography on Pentax 35mm film SLRs (such as the K1000, ME Super, MX, Program A, and P30). Easily adapted to modern mirrorless digital systems (Sony E, Fujifilm X, Micro Four Thirds, Canon RF) via standard PK-to-mirrorless adapter rings. Constructed with an all-metal barrel, crisp aperture detents, textured rubber focus grip, and a compact 49mm front filter thread. Serial number 285045. Complete with front clip-on lens cap and rear PK mount cap.

Overall Condition: Excellent

Optics are clear, fungus-free, and haze-free with possible light internal dust. The black metal lens barrel finish is in exceptionally clean cosmetic condition with crisp white lettering and firm rubber focus ring texturing. Metal Pentax PK bayonet mount flange, stop-down coupler, and rear glass optic are bright and clean. Manual focus ring rotates smoothly and evenly, aperture ring clicks sharply across all stops, and aperture blades are oil-free and snappy. Serial number 285045. Fully tested and working.
