The Kodak Retinette II (Type 160) is a rare pre-WWII 35mm folding viewfinder camera manufactured in Stuttgart, Germany by Kodak AG (formerly Dr. August Nagel). Produced between 1939 and 1941, the Type 160 was the premium pre-war Retinette variant, distinguished by its top-mounted shutter release button and integrated optical viewfinder housing. Fitted with a Kodak Anastigmat 50mm f/3.5 lens in a Compur leaf shutter, it offers classic pre-war German craftsmanship in a compact, drop-bed folding body structure.

Overall Condition: Very Good
Optics show minor haze with possible minor dust, free from fungus. Bellows fold smoothly and are light-tight. Shutter speeds and light meter vary appropriately. Film advance and body-mounted shutter release operate smoothly.

With production cut short by WWII, the pre-war Type 160 Retinette II is considerably scarcer than its post-war successors.
