The Leitz Wetzlar Elmarit-R 24mm f/2.8 is a classic wide-angle lens designed for Leica R-mount SLR cameras. Introduced in 1974 and produced until 2006, it features a Minolta-derived optical design later refined by Leica with updated glass and coatings. Known for its compact build, sharp centre performance, and excellent flare control, it’s ideal for landscape, architecture, and street photography. This boxed example is in Excellent Condition, fully tested and includes original accessories. (note minor cleaning marks to rear of lens)
