The Minolta 7000 AF was a game-changer in 1985—the first mass-produced 35mm SLR with built-in autofocus. Paired here with a Sigma 35–70mm f/3.5–4.5 AF zoom lens, this kit offers a versatile shooting range and full autofocus functionality for film photography.

This set is ideal for collectors, analog enthusiasts, or anyone exploring vintage autofocus systems. The camera body is clean and tested, with smooth film advance and responsive shutter. The Sigma lens delivers decent sharpness and contrast, with working AF and manual override.

This is in good working condition, just one point to note is the small part of the rubber grip is missing.

Collector Notes:

The Minolta 7000 was a landmark release, paving the way for modern autofocus SLRs. While its AF system is primitive by today’s standards, it’s historically significant and still fun to shoot. The Sigma lens complements the body with a compact zoom range and decent optics. A great entry point into vintage AF systems or a nostalgic return for seasoned shooters.
