The Nikon AF Nikkor 35-80mm f/4-5.6D is an ultra-lightweight, compact standard zoom lens designed for Nikon 35mm AF film SLRs and digital SLR bodies. Covering the versatile focal range from wide 35mm to short telephoto 80mm, it is an ideal lightweight carry lens for everyday snapshots, landscapes, and portraits. Features "D-type" distance technology, communicating subject distance data to the camera body for enhanced 3D Matrix Metering and balanced fill-flash control. Built with a manual aperture ring with minimum aperture lock switch, textured rubber zoom ring, and standard 52mm front filter thread. Compatible with full-frame FX and crop-sensor DX Nikon DSLRs with an internal screw-drive AF motor (such as the D90, D7000 series, D300, D700, D850), operating as a manual focus lens on entry-level bodies (D3000/D5000 series). Serial number 4584175. Complete with front snap-on lens cap.

Cosmetically in very clean, well-preserved condition with minimal signs of handling wear on the exterior composite housing. Glass elements are clear, bright, and clean with rich optical multi-coatings. Free from haze, fungus, element separation, or severe scratches. Zoom ring rotates smoothly throughout the focal range, manual aperture ring turns crisply down to f/22, minimum aperture lock works properly, and aperture blades are clean and responsive. Screw-drive autofocus coupling and electronic contacts are clean and fully operational. Serial number 4584175. Fully tested and working.
