Description

The Nikon AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED is a high-performance medium telephoto macro lens engineered for true $1:1$ life-size close-up photography, portraiture, and general telephoto shooting on Nikon FX and DX DSLRs. Featuring Nikon's second-generation Vibration Reduction (VR II) image stabilization, Nano Crystal Coat to minimize ghosting and flare, and Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass elements for edge-to-edge optical sharpness. Driven by a Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for quick, quiet autofocus with instant manual focus override ($M/A$ mode), it incorporates an Internal Focusing (IF) design that prevents lens barrel extension during close-up shooting. Complete with its original factory golden box, printed instruction manual, fitted Hoya front protection filter, and front/rear caps.

Optics are fungus and haze free with possible minor dust. The outer barrel finish exhibits very light, clean signs of careful handling with intact rubber focus grip texture, crisp gold and white lettering, and clean switch gear. The metal F-mount bayonet and electronic contacts are bright and pristine. Silent Wave Motor autofocus operates swiftly, VR optical stabilization locks steadily, manual focus ring turns smoothly, and aperture diaphragm functions cleanly. Fully tested and working.
