The Nikkor-H Auto 28mm f/3.5 is a vintage wide-angle prime lens produced by Nippon Kogaku for 35mm Nikon F-mount SLR cameras. Renowned for its optical correction, distortion-free wide field of view, and solid, all-metal mechanical construction. Built around a 6-element in 6-group optical design ("H" designating Hexa / 6 elements), featuring a scalloped metal focus ring, solid brass aperture ring with original prong ("rabbit ears"), silver chrome barrel ring, and standard 52mm front filter thread. Native Non-AI bayonet mount compatible with vintage film bodies (Nikon F, F2, Nikkormat) and easily adaptable to modern mirrorless digital systems. Serial number 771124. Complete with front snap-on lens cap and rear push-on mount cap.

Cosmetically in very clean condition with minimal handling wear on the metal barrel paint and knurled focus grips. Glass elements are bright, clear, and clean with rich multi-coatings. Free from haze, fungus, separation, or severe scratching. Scalloped focus ring rotates smoothly and evenly across the distance scale. Aperture ring turns crisply with firm detents down to f/16, and five-blade diaphragm is dry, clean, and snappy. Serial number 771124. Fully tested and mechanically sound.
