The NIKKOR-Q Auto 200mm f/4 is a classic vintage telephoto prime lens manufactured in Japan by Nippon Kogaku Japan. Featuring a 4-element optical design ("Q" designating Quatuor), solid all-metal construction, built-in retractable metal lens hood, and classic scalloped metal focus ring. Operates via the original pre-AI (non-AI) Nikon F bayonet mount, featuring coupling prongs ("rabbit ears") for meter coupling on early Nikon SLR bodies like the Nikon F, Nikkormat, and F2. Complete with front and rear lens caps.

Overall Condition: Very Good

Cosmetically in well-preserved vintage condition with minor surface marks and light edge wear along the metal barrel and built-in hood consistent with age. Focus helicoid turns smoothly and evenly across the distance scale. Aperture ring clicks positively at all f-stops from f/4 to f/32, and internal diaphragm blades are clean and free of oil. Optical path is clear with vibrant purple/blue coatings, free from fungus or deep scratches; minor internal dust specks are present as standard for vintage telephoto lenses. Serial number 436177. Fully tested and operational.
