Condition

Overall Condition: Very Good

Cosmetically in very good pre-owned vintage condition showing light handling marks and minor surface scuffs on the outer barrel casing. The rubber focus ring is clean and rotates smoothly across the range. Zoom ring action is firm and precise. Aperture ring detents distinctly at all stops, and internal aperture blades are clean, oil-free, and snappy. Optics are clear with anti-reflective multi-coatings intact; free from fungus, severe optical haze, or glass scratches, containing only minor internal micro-dust specks typical for vintage zoom optics. Metal OM bayonet mount is clean and mounts securely. Fully tested and operational.

Collector's Notes

The constant f/4 version of the OM 35-70mm is often preferred over later variable-aperture standard zooms due to its consistent exposure characteristics when zooming and superior mechanical feel. Compact, reliable, and sharp, it remains a fantastic everyday walkaround lens for classic OM film photography or mirrorless street shooting. Having the original OM retail box included adds nice collector appeal.
