Description

The Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Aspherical is a fast standard zoom lens engineered for full-frame FX and crop-sensor DX Nikon digital and film SLRs. Featuring a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture throughout the zoom range, it delivers impressive low-light performance and shallow depth-of-field control. Optical construction incorporates Aspherical lens elements alongside Sigma's Digitally Integrated (DG) multi-layer lens coating to reduce flare, ghosting, and optical aberrations. Fitted with a native Nikon F mount, featuring a dedicated physical aperture ring and a Dual-Focus (DF) mechanism for switching between autofocus and manual focus operation. Takes a large $82\text{mm}$ front filter thread. Complete with its original factory packaging box, padded green Sigma zip case, petal lens hood, front cap, and rear cap.

Overall Condition: Excellent

Optics are fungus and haze free with possible minor dust. The matte EX finish on the outer lens barrel is in exceptionally clean condition, showing minimal signs of handling wear, crisp gold lettering, and firm, clean rubber zoom/focus rings. Metal Nikon bayonet mount and electronic contacts are clean and scratch-free. Dual-Focus ring clutch shifts properly, zoom action turns smoothly across the range, physical aperture ring clicks firmly, and aperture blades are oil-free. Fully tested and working.
