Description

The Tamron AF 55-200mm f/4-5.6 Di II LD Macro (Model A15) is a compact, lightweight telephoto zoom lens engineered specifically for APS-C format digital SLR cameras. Featuring a native Nikon F bayonet mount with a mechanical drive-screw autofocus coupling, it incorporates Low Dispersion (LD) glass elements to minimize chromatic aberrations and ensure high image contrast. Covering a useful telephoto focal range equivalent to roughly 82.5–300mm on 35mm full-frame, it is well suited for sports, action, wildlife, and portraiture. Offers close-up focusing down to 0.95m (3.12 ft) across the entire zoom range with a 1:3.5 maximum magnification ratio for macro details. Compatible with Nikon APS-C digital SLRs featuring an in-body focus motor (such as the D50, D70, D80, D90, D300, D7000 series) and full-frame bodies in crop mode. Standard 52mm front filter thread. Serial number 217059. Complete with a rear lens cap.

Overall Condition: Excellent

Optics are clear, fungus-free, and haze-free with light internal dust typical for lightweight zoom lenses. The textured black polycarbonate outer lens barrel and rubberized zoom/focus rings are in clean condition with bright white focal length markings. Nikon F bayonet mount plate, electronic contacts, and AF drive-screw socket are clean and intact. Zoom ring rotates smoothly throughout the 55–200mm focal range, manual focus ring operates properly, and aperture blades are oil-free and snappy. Serial number 217059. Fully tested and working.
