Belonging to Tamron's Super Performance (SP) series, it features a push-pull AF/MF clutch mechanism on the wide rubber focus ring, a focus limiter switch (Full/Limit) for faster hunting control, and an aperture ring with lock for full compatibility across vintage film and modern digital Nikon bodies. Built with a native Nikon F-mount (AF-D coupling with aperture ring) and a 55mm front filter thread. Model 72E, serial number 802139.
