Description

The Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 (Model 72EE) is a legendary, high-performance prime macro lens designed for Canon EF mount full-frame and APS-C digital and film SLRs. Renowned for its exceptional optical sharpness, micro-contrast, and smooth background rendering, it delivers true $1:1$ life-size magnification at a minimum focusing distance of $0.29\text{m}$ ($0.96\text{ft}$). Optical elements are treated with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings to control flare and ghosting. Features a convenient push-pull AF/MF focus ring clutch mechanism, a focus limiter switch (Full / Limit), a deeply recessed front element, and a $55\text{mm}$ filter thread. Fully adaptable to Canon EOS R mirrorless bodies via EF-EOS R Mount Adapters. Complete with its original factory box, soft drawstring leatherette pouch, dedicated bayonet lens hood, front cap, and rear cap.

Overall Condition: Excellent

Optics are fungus and haze free with possible minor dust. The lens barrel finish is in exceptionally clean condition with intact, firm rubber focus ring texturing, bright gold barrel trim, and clean lettering. Metal Canon EF bayonet mount and electronic contacts are clean and scratch-free. Push-pull AF/MF clutch shifts smoothly, focus ring damping is even, focus limiter switch clicks securely, and aperture blades are oil-free. Fully tested and working.
