Collector Notes:
This lens is a popular choice for Pentax shooters seeking reach and versatility on a budget. It performs best between 70–200mm, with sharp results and pleasing bokeh. At 300mm, softness and chromatic aberration increase, but stopping down to f/8–f/11 improves clarity. The macro mode is a standout feature, offering close-up capability without switching lenses. A great companion for outdoor photography, wildlife, and casual macro work.
