The Vivitar 24mm f/2 MC Wide Angle is a highly prized, fast vintage manual focus prime lens featuring a native Canon FD/FL bayonet mount. Manufactured by Kino Precision (Kiron) as indicated by serial number prefix "22", it is renowned among vintage optical enthusiasts for its unusually bright f/2 maximum aperture, outstanding resolution, and rich color rendition. Multi-Coated (MC) elements effectively reduce internal reflections and lens flare. Excellent for low-light street photography, environmental portraits, and wide-angle cinematography on classic Canon SLR bodies (such as the AE-1, AE-1 Program, A-1, F-1, and T90) or adapted to modern mirrorless camera systems (Sony E, Fujifilm X, Canon RF, Micro Four Thirds) via standard FD adapters. Features an all-metal construction, crisp aperture detents, ribbed rubber focus grip, and a 55mm front filter thread. Serial number 22004230. Complete with a front clip-on lens cap and rear Canon FD mount cap.

Overall Condition: Excellent

Optics are clear, fungus-free, and haze-free with minimal internal dust. The black anodized lens barrel finish is in exceptionally clean condition with bright white, green, and orange aperture and distance markings. Metal Canon FD breech-lock bayonet mount and aperture coupling levers are bright and clean. Manual focus ring turns smoothly and evenly across the focus throw, aperture ring clicks sharply at all stops, and aperture blades are clean, snappy, and oil-free. Serial number 22004230. Fully tested and working.
