Description
The Voigtländer Bessa is a classic 6×9 medium format folding camera, produced in Germany from the late 1930s through the 1950s. Designed for 120 roll film, it delivers eight large negatives per roll — ideal for high-resolution vintage photography. This model is fitted with a Voigtländer 110mm f/4.5 lens, offering crisp rendering and smooth tonal transitions, perfect for landscapes and portraits.
The camera features a manual focus system, leaf shutter (typically Prontor or Compur) with speeds from 1s to 1/250s + B, and a folding optical viewfinder. Its compact bellows design folds flat for portability, making it a favourite among collectors and field photographers alike.
Condition
Good vintage condition. Lens optics clean — no haze, fungus, or scratches. Shutter fires across all speeds. Bellows intact and light-tight. Body shows minor cosmetic wear.
