Condition

Overall Condition: Excellent

Cosmetically in very clean, well-preserved condition with minimal handling wear across the satin chrome top plate and leatherette body covering. Folding mechanism opens smoothly upon pressing the release button and locks upright firmly; original leather bellows are flexible, light-tight, and free from pinholes or tears. The leaf shutter fires crisp and accurately across all speeds plus Bulb. Lens elements are clear with clean glass, free from fungus, heavy haze, or deep scratches. Film advance knob winds smoothly and frame counter red window cover slides correctly. Includes original leather case showing light age-related patina. Fully tested and functional.

Collector's Notes

The Voigtländer Perkeo series is celebrated as one of the smallest 6x6 medium format folding cameras ever created. Beloved by travel and landscape photographers for packing the massive negative area of 120 film into a body barely larger than a 35mm rangefinder. Clean, working examples with intact bellows, accurate shutter speeds, and original fitted leather cases remain highly desirable user-collectible cameras.
