Produced in Japan by Tomioka/Yashica, the ML (Multi-Layered) coating series was designed to compete directly with Carl Zeiss glass, offering outstanding contrast, rich color fidelity, and effective flare reduction. With its bright f/1.4 maximum aperture, it produces beautiful, creamy background bokeh and smooth depth-of-field isolation. Built with solid all-metal construction, it is an ideal lens for 35mm film SLRs as well as adapting to modern mirrorless digital systems.

Overall Condition: Excellent

Optics are fungus and haze free. Lens barrel shows minimal cosmetic wear. Focus ring rotates smoothly with even resistance, and aperture blades are oil-free, clean, and snappy. Shutter speeds and light meter vary appropriately.
